Farmyard’s take on a show stopping Beef wellington is the perfect centrepiece for any dinner party or an intimate meal for two. Showcasing our incredible local Swannington dry-aged sirloin, wrapped with sticky pulled featherblade and brisket, a rich chicken mousse and truffled mushroom duxelle. All encased in beautiful golden puff pastry and individually handcrafted by our talented Farmyard chefs.

Ingredients & allergens

Cooking instructions

FROM FROZEN
Preheat oven to 220°C / Fan 200°C / Gas Mark 7. Remove from box and all outer packaging, place onto a lined baking tray and bake for 70 mins, rest at room temperature for 5 mins  (medium-rare). Treat these steps as guidelines, as all appliances vary.

FROM DEFROSTED
Remove from the freezer and allow to defrost in a fridge for 24 hours or until completely thawed. Preheat oven to 220°C / Fan 200°C / Gas Mark 7. Remove from box and all outer packaging, place onto a lined baking tray and bake for 35 mins, rest at room temperature for 5 mins  (medium-rare). Treat these steps as guidelines, as all appliances vary.

Do not reheat. Keep refrigerated and use within 48 hours of defrosting.

Delivery information

We deliver on Wednesday and Saturday only. We hand pack each individual parcel with care using our specially designed frozen boxes which are fully recyclable with plant – based liners and extremely cold gel packs that are frozen down to -27ºc.

If you’re not going to be at home when it arrives, our drivers can leave your order in a safe place. You will be asked to provide this when you checkout.

Something a little different

It was our wedding anniverary so, I thought I would try something different. Decide on your own menu from the ideas given and was delighted with the quality of the food. Excellant. Will order again.

Good but not amazing!

This is a very mixed review really. We had the empanadas to start and they were very tasty with good pastry and filling. It was unfortunate that the Beef Wellington fell well below expectations. It was not a well constructed Wellington. It should have had a mushroon and shallots and some sort of pate spread inside the pastry to keep the meat moist. The fillet steak (if it was that) was tough and alongside it was a lump of the filling used in the empanadas. This made it very dry and although the pastry was good it was not hugely enjoyable. The fig sticky toffee pudding was nice. I will try Farmyard Frozen again and hope that the next one will be 5 star!
