Lyonnaise Onions, Capers and Potato. Farmyard’s Norfolk take on the classic Lancashire hotpot: utilising incredible locally sourced lamb from Swannington Farm to Fork, a proud sustainable farmer and company we enjoy working with.
Caramelised onions provide a rich and savoury base for the lamb shoulder, which is braised slowly with white wine and thyme. A handful of tangy capers at the end brings balance to the finish. Topped with a crisp hand-layered potato gratin.

Cooking instructions

For 1 serving

From frozen

Preheat oven to 220°C / Fan 200°C / Gas Mark 7. Remove sleeve and film,, put on a baking tray and place on the middle shelf. Cook for 38-40 mins or until piping hot. Remove baking tray and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

From defrosted

Remove from the freezer and allow to defrost in a fridge for 24 hours or until completely thawed. Preheat oven to 220°C / Fan 200°C / Gas Mark 7. Remove sleeve and film, put on a baking tray and place on the middle shelf. Cook for 20-22 mins or until piping hot. Remove baking tray and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

Please keep refrigerated and use within 48 hours of defrosting. Treat these steps as guidelines, as all appliances vary. Do not reheat.

We deliver on Wednesday and Saturday only. We hand pack each individual parcel with care using our specially designed frozen boxes which are fully recyclable with plant – based liners and extremely cold gel packs that are frozen down to -27ºc.

If you’re not going to be at home when it arrives, our drivers can leave your order in a safe place. You will be asked to provide this when you checkout.
