Just because there are no mountains in Norfolk doesn’t mean we have to deprive ourselves of a local twist on an alpine classic; not so much après-ski as après-walk or even avec Netflix. Local smoked bacon lardons, caramelised onions, garlic and thyme are cooked with tender new potatoes and covered in a rich Baron Bigod and cream sauce. Fen Farm Dairy who produce Baron Bigod is just over the border in Suffolk, but we’ll let them off because their cheese is too good.

Potato (56%), Double Cream (Milk), Onions (7%), Smoked Streaky Bacon (4%) (Pork Belly, Salt, Demerara Sugar, Preservatives (E250, E252) Natural Smoke), Baron Bigod (4%) (Milk), Cooking Wine (De-alcoholised Wine From Concentrate, White Wine (40%), Salt, Preservative (Potassium Metabisulphite)), Garlic, Parsley, Cornflour, Vegetable Oil, Salt, Ground Black Pepper.

Cooking instructions

FROM FROZEN
Preheat the oven to 190°C / Fan 180°C / Gas mark 5. Remove sleeve and film, put on a baking tray and place on the middle shelf. Cook for 30 mins or until piping hot. Remove baking tray and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

FROM DEFROSTED
Remove from the freezer and allow to defrost in a fridge for 24 hours or until completely thawed. Preheat the oven to 190°C / Fan 180°C / Gas mark 5. Remove sleeve and film, put on a baking tray and place on the middle shelf. Cook for 20 mins or until piping hot. Remove baking tray and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

Please keep refrigerated and use within 48 hours of defrosting. Treat these steps as guidelines, as all appliances vary. Do not reheat.

We deliver on Wednesday and Saturday only. We hand pack each individual parcel with care using our specially designed frozen boxes which are fully recyclable with plant – based liners and extremely cold gel packs that are frozen down to -27ºc.

If you’re not going to be at home when it arrives, our drivers can leave your order in a safe place. You will be asked to provide this when you checkout.
