Cider, Grain Mustard and Apple.

Our locally sourced Swannington pork shoulder is slowly braised in a beautifully fresh cider and wholegrain mustard veloute. Re-creating the classic pork and apple combination, with the bold tang of grain mustard to cut through the natural sweetness of the cider. Finished with granny smith apple and fresh tarragon.

Chef recommends serving with Farmyard Buttered Mash.


INGREDIENTS

 

Pork Shoulder (38%), Chicken Stock (Water, Chicken Bones, White Wine (Sulphites), Onion, Carrots, Leeks, Celery, Garlic, Thyme, Rosemary), Onion, Granny Smith Apples (8%), Cream (Milk), Cider (5%) (Sulphites), Butter (Milk), Flour (Wheat), Apple Juice, Grain Mustard (1%), Garlic, Salt, Tarragon, Chives, Parsley, Black Pepper.

Made in an environment that handles celery, crustaceans, fish, milk, mustard, peanuts, soya, cereals, eggs, molluscs, nuts, sesame seeds, and sulphites

 

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS Serves 1 

FROM DEFROSTED

Remove from the freezer and allow to defrost in a fridge for 24 hours or until completely thawed. Preheat oven to 190°C / Fan 180°C / Gas Mark 5. Remove sleeve, pierce film, put on a baking tray and place on the middle shelf. Cook for 15-16 mins or until piping hot. Remove baking tray and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.     

FROM FROZEN

Preheat oven to 190°C / Fan 180°C / Gas Mark 5. Remove sleeve, pierce film, put on a baking tray and place on the middle shelf. Cook for 28-30 mins or until piping hot. Remove baking tray and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

Please use within 48 hours of defrosting. Treat these steps as guidelines, as all appliances vary. Do not reheat.

Preheat oven to 190°C / Fan 180°C / Gas Mark 5. Remove sleeve, pierce film, put on a baking tray and place on the middle shelf. Cook for 34-36 mins or until piping hot. Remove baking tray and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

We are all very impressed with the quality and portion size of all of the items we ordered. The beef welly was to die for as were the desserts! Highly recommend Farmyard Frozen!
