Dry sherry, cream velouté

Locally sourced Norfolk chicken cooked with a French twist in this classic white stew. Delicately braised in a white wine & cream veloute, with button mushrooms, caramelised onions & fresh thyme. Flavour combinations harmoniously brought together by dry sherry & white truffle. 

Chef recommends serving with Farmyard's Black Bomber & Truffle Terrine or Buttered Mash & Garden Green

INGREDIENTS

Chicken (35%), Button Mushrooms (15%), Chicken Stock (Water, Chicken Bones, White Wine (Sulphites), Onion, Carrots, Leeks, Celery, Garlic, Thyme, Rosemary), Onion, Cream (Milk), White Wine (Sulphites), Flour (Wheat), Sherry (2%) (Sulphites), Butter (Milk), Garlic, Salt, Truffle Oil, Thyme, Black Pepper, Xantana.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS Serves 1 

FROM DEFROSTED

Remove from the freezer and allow to defrost in a fridge for 24 hours or until completely thawed. Preheat oven to 190°C / Fan 180°C / Gas mark 5. Remove sleeve, pierce film, put on a baking tray and place on the middle shelf. Cook for 18-20 mins or until piping hot. Remove baking tray and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

FROM FROZEN

Preheat oven to 190°C / Fan 180°C / Gas mark 5. Remove sleeve, pierce film, put on a baking tray and place on the middle shelf. Cook for 32-34 mins or until piping hot. Remove baking tray and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

Please use within 48 hours of defrosting. Treat these steps as guidelines, as all appliances vary. Do not reheat.
