Earl Grey Scented Butterscotch Sauce

Farmyard’s take on a classic sticky toffee pudding. A proper crowd-pleaser, ideal for any occasion or indeed solo mission. The light date sponge is paired with an aromatic Earl Grey tea scented butterscotch sauce to add another dimension to the desert.

Chef recommends serving with vanilla ice cream.

INGREDIENTS

Pitted Dates (12%), Water, Self Raising Flour (Wheat), Dark Brown Sugar, Egg, Butter (Milk), Golden Syrup, Treacle, Sodium Bicarbonate), Earl Grey Caramel Sauce (37%) (Cream (Milk), Demerara Sugar, Butter (Milk), Golden Syrup, Treacle, Earl Grey Tea).

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

FROM DEFROSTED

Remove from the freezer and allow to defrost in a fridge for 12 hours or until completely thawed. Remove sleeve, place on a microwaveable plate and pierce film. Microwave on full power for 1 min or until piping hot. Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

FROM FROZEN

Remove sleeve, place on a microwaveable plate and pierce film. Microwave on full power for 90 seconds, leave to stand for one minute, cook again on full power for 1 minute, or until piping hot, leave to stand for one minute before serving.

Please use within 48 hours of defrosting. Treat these steps as guidelines, as all appliances vary. Do not reheat.
